At 85cm the Bite 85 has less volume and less surface area than the Bite 100, which means less weight to carry through every pump. The Hopper Carbon Mast is 750mm of full carbon, built to turn every pump into forward drive. How the Bite 85 pumpfoil board is built.

The Bite 85 is built around a PVC core with biaxial prepreg carbon on both the top and underside, reinforced with carbon stringers and carbon reinforcements around the finbox. Stiffness is placed exactly where forces are highest, without adding unnecessary weight. The construction makes the board suitable for advanced riders who demand more from their equipment. The rigid stringer along the underside adds longitudinal stiffness for direct pump response with no energy lost to flex. The rocker is tuned for dockstarts: if the board touches the water, it picks up the pump immediately instead of stalling. Two distinct EVA patterns provide grip and foot position feedback for both front and rear foot, during the start and throughout the pumping session, without looking down.
